Youth Action for Prevention

Short-Term Contract

The successful applicant will work with the Youth Action for Prevention Program under the direction of the Program Manager at the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• making arrangements for events throughout the province
• travelling throughout the province with a Photovoice display concerning youth and alcohol
• facilitating community discussions about the display using a pre-determined format
• helping to evaluate the project

Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; have knowledge in the areas of youth and youth engagement; have a valid driver’s license; post-secondary education; and knowledge of the province of Saskatchewan.

The term of the contract will be January 30, 2011 to March 31, 2011.
