Healthy Parenting Home Study Program

Healthy Parenting is a program for parents, parents-to-be, and caregivers of children birth to age five.

The program is divided into six age-related modules. Topics include:

  • Growth and development
  • Physical and emotional needs
  • Positive discipline strategies
  • Speech and language development
  • Safety
  • Importance of Play

Home study is ideal for parents who like to learn on their own and/or those who do not have access to group parenting programs.

In addition to the core modules, the Healthy Parenting Home Study Program is designed to enable complementary modules to be developed and added. Based on specific issues and topics of interest, these modules will provide additional support on parenting children birth to age five.
